NetLert Communications Inc is a software development and marketing company, with a history of focusing on the enterprise communications market. NCI is a spin-off from SoftBase Systems, Inc (SBS), a successful software development and marketing company, specializing in tools for the DB2 and Oracle Database market since 1982. SoftBase originally developed NetLert IM, the first Instant Messaging tool designed specifically for the business community. After a successful marketing rollout of the NetLert IM product, all development, support and marketing was spun-off in June 2000 into a separate company, NetLert Communications, Inc. NetLert Communications' focus is to bring software products to market that add value to Enterprise Instant Messaging. NetLert IM is the first such product. Also focused on the Call and Contact Center industry, NCI's NetLert Instant Knowledge Server (NIKS) is our second solution offering. At its core NIKS is a data harvesting or mining and storage mechanism, which provides a few basic utilities for placing data into its data store and retrieving information from this data store. NIKS can monitor or pose queries to intelligent devices such as telephone dialers, switches or automated call distribution systems (ACDs) or even a number of other sources such as corporate databases, network files and the web.
